Wine Enthusiast Ratings
Two of our wines have been awarded by the prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast. In addition, the wines produced at our Lerma winery under the Arlanza Designation of Origin have also received outstanding scores.
At Bodegas Nabal, we continue to strengthen our international reputation after receiving outstanding ratings from Wine Enthusiast, one of the world’s most influential wine magazines.
In its latest tasting selection, the American publication has recognized two of our flagship wines, highlighting their quality, character, and ability to express the true essence of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin:
Nabal Reserva 2021 – 95 points and Cellar Selection.
Valle de Nabal 2024 – 94 points and Editor’s Choice.
These distinctions represent an important endorsement of the work we carry out every day at Bodegas Nabal, where we are committed to crafting high-quality wines through respect for the vineyard, winemaking tradition, and a careful balance of experience and innovation.
In addition, the prestigious magazine has also recognized the wines of Bodegas Lerma, the Navarro Balbás family’s other winemaking project, further strengthening the international recognition of the joint efforts dedicated to producing Arlanza wines:
Gran Lerma Reserva 2021 – 95 points and Editor’s Choice.
Tinto Lerma Crianza 2022 – 95 points and Editor’s Choice.
The distinctions awarded by Wine Enthusiast are highly respected within the international wine industry. The Editor’s Choice designation recognizes wines that are especially recommended by the magazine’s editors for their outstanding quality and distinctive character, while Cellar Selection is reserved for wines with exceptional aging potential and an outstanding ability to evolve in the bottle.
These new accolades reaffirm our commitment to two distinct winemaking projects, united by the same philosophy: respect for origin, the pursuit of excellence, and the production of wines that faithfully convey the unique character of each terroir.
